Cambodia part. 4 Countryside

Before christmas I went to the countryside with my friend Sopheany to her village, where she is from. After hours on the back of a motor-bike down dirt road after dirt road, and across a river by ferry, we arrived. I was speechless when I walked into her families "backyard" to see the most lush, green, breath-taking sea of rice feilds, flood-land, and water-lilies. Her neices and nephews cartwheeling, laughing, and balancing on canoes. Her mother cooked us Khemi curry and we all ate together in their little bamboo home. Perhaps the best day I have yet recieved since being here. On our way back the sickest, ugliest, fattest beast of a pig bolted out of nowhere onto the road in front of us. I caught him in action.
